i found some fun where the wild things are activities and ideas on the national wildlife federation's be out there page. check it out. i can't wait to change the hundred acre woods into a new magical place where the wild things can roar their terrible roars and gnash their terrible teeth. is it strange that i am more excited than the boys? i know for a fact that there's a max living in my soul. still.

ReplyDeleteour kids will sit up late in their dorm rooms at Brown years from now and talk about how this movie scarred them for life. i love it... we're going at 10 in the morning, we'll be there with you in spirit!
ReplyDeleteYou know based on the comments over at the vintage blog, i contemplated not taking him.... literally, it kept me up last night worrying so that I read everything online... every article and review I could get my hands on... this morning, we've decided to take him... but we are taking blankets and pillows in case he needs to hide. and the hub is fully prepared to walk out with the bub if need be. i guess in a few hours we'll know if the sweat was for naught.

I haven't gone yet - but it was my absolute favorite childhood book, and I'm afraid that it's not going to live up to my imagination! :) Can't wait to read your thoughts!
