my favorite saying these days is "worlds collide." especially in the era of facebook....usually it means i have a facebook dilemma and have to consult the coworkers for advice. but i have to say that in the last couple of months since i joined, i have had a great time finding old buddies and getting reconnected with people i missed having in my life. although i graduated from the university of denver, my first collegiate experience was at a small college near portland, oregon called lewis and clark. i did not stay there long enough to say hi and bye, but i did make some really good friends and had experiences and memories that i still hold dear. since college i have stayed in touch with leighann, but lost track of the other girls that made my adventure in oregon bearable. enter facebook....finally after all these years of wondering i found a really good friend pictured above (hannah). she is still friends with gen and zasha, and i am friends with her and leighann...so in a roundabout way our little lc posse, as we called it, is still intact (well in a 6 degrees of separation sort of way:)). boy did we wear a lot of eye makeup back then. i digress...welcome han!

ReplyDeleteThat is so cool that you still have that drawing. I remember that outfit that I am wearing. I loved that green striped shirt and green jeans(haven't worn colored jeans in awhile...) I am going to try and get Zasha into facebook. I'll try and dig up my freshman year photo book one of these days when the kids are sleeping.
