the yo

after our relaxing time in the mountains, we headed across the valley to idaho falls (aka the big city) for the yo murphy swing for kids golf classic. yo played football all over the place - u of idaho, minnesota, tampa bay, st. louis, the xfl, the cfl, and the nfl europe. he puts on a bunch of events to benefit kids in idaho falls. and, even though yo and uncle kevin used to lock brad in the closet when he was little, we go every year to support him and hang out with all of brad's buddies from idaho. it is a total blast! this year we took little man out for the back nine during brad's practice round. i let him out of the cart as the guys were putting and he would use his i-run (he corrects me every time i call it an iron) to get on the green and then would putt away. he had such a great time out there with all the guys. while in the big city we got to see so many friends, spend time with cousins (beans was obsessed with brooke, koa and keegan and sweetpea couldn't get enough of colby, miklyn and marissa), play with the grandparents, go to the zoo and stay up LATE every night. we made it home safe and sound everybody! thanks grandpa john and grandma brenda for such a fun bbq last night (jello is a finger food right? he's holding the spoon.)thanks jh for all our new thomas loot (tell jacks he can come and play with it in denver ANY time).
