sweet pea came running into the kitchen this morning and said, "beans just took something out of my ha-ann-ndd." because we have been working on this with sweet pea (not taking things away from beans) i gave beans a lecture more for sweet pea's benefit. "beans we don't take things out of brother's hands. we share. can you say you're sorry?" beans says, "sorry" (sort of) and that made sweet pea so pleased (that beans said a word to him). a few minutes later sweet pea looked at beans and said, "beans. can you say barack obama?" beans just smiled and looked at me and yelled, "mama!"

ReplyDeleteHello, This is Jennie from Jenerbug, and 1st I wanted to say "THANKS" for your wonderful, uplifting comments that you left for me, it is always a good thing to be reminded that I am not crazy.
ReplyDeleteI have started a new thing my kids, if they are fighting, tattle tailing, etc., in most cases when I have not seen the entire interaction and have no clue as to whether or not I am getting the entire picture, I ask them to both apologize, hug AND (here is the kicker) they must say one nice thing about the other one, by the time we have gotten to the postive comment part they are so ready to move on from what brought them to this moment, they happily go on and leave each other alone or just play nice.
