sweet pea had so much fun yesterday on his first field trip to panera (of all places). he actually asked if he could go to school which was such a welcome change in our lives. we walked to the old littleton train station and took the light rail to panera. the kids got to make bread and cookies and tour the kitchen. and afterwards they got to enjoy juice and their baked goods. the journey was really long for the little ones and they were very good nappers that afternoon.
the train was the highlight of the trip. he loved riding backwards and looking at the tracks.
sweet pea did his best job not to get himself in trouble in the middle of the restaurant kitchen.

i LOVE the hands in the pockets, with that "okay, let's get this going!" look on his face. field trips are the best!

we do sushi at wasabi on the river, and it's really good! maybe there will be time in july, maybe...
that bottom pic is just adorable. the fishy lips with his hands in his pockets, minding his own business. i wonder what he was thinking.
