from the bottom of my heart, i want to thank everyone so much for all the kind thoughts and well wishes. as a family, we just wanted to let everyone know we are strong and we have so much support, and are so thankful for family and friends right now. our suspicions were confirmed and it was in fact his heart (heart failure not heart attack). i was told that he was gone in an instant. i think the words to me were "it was like turning off a light switch." i find that very comforting. on thursday we'll celebrate his life and the wonderful time we spent with him and then we'll start the process of moving on which is how he would have liked it.
