anyone who has been to DIA lately has no doubt seen the new sculpture of a blue mustang with fiery red eyes outside of the terminal. we've seen it at least a million times in the last few months. although it seems like an uforgettable sculpture, the images of its glowing red eyes were happily erased from my memory until last night. we were watching the news when carter said, "look, it's the mysterious horse from the airport." we had a few chuckles about it and moved on. this morning carter woke up and came looking for his dad. he said, "daddy did you get back from the airport? you were riding your horse out there." it was the first real time he's been able to tell us about a dream he was having. for a few minutes he was really confused about whether or not it really happened. can you imagine brad out on the plains on his big, cuge (carterism), mustang? what a scary dream that must have been for carter. HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!
