bananas

we had a birthday party for our little monkey. monkeys like bananas. there were a lot of monkeys and bananas around our house for decoration. that's the connection. some people were confused. others were concerned about the great waste of bananas. there will be plenty of banana bread to go around (banana muffins, banana pancakes, banana smoothies, etc.).

my prediction was WRONG. there was no diving in (at least by beans). but you know that sweet pea had to be right in the center of the action and he did his own taste testing of the cake. he had more frosting from head to toe than beans did. thank you so much for all of the wonderful books. the boys spent all day reading and reading.
