i have been searching for some good vintage fabric. i need to make pillows for the garage sale chairs we've been collecting for headquarters. i just can't bring myself to pay full price. for anything. it's not how i roll. i have been fretting over it. i pulled out the fabric we have stashed away for markets. nothing.
and then like an answered prayer appeared this polka-dotted HOUSE COAT. house coat, i tell you. with a trimmed collar. and real wooden buttons. a house coat in a bag full of other polka dotted vintage fabric in every color.
and another bag full of vintage fabric and old vintage tablecloths.
and the last bag with vintage upholstery fabric and drapery including this drop dead gorgeous soft blue eyelet fabric.
i pinched myself at the luck. i am so thankful that we know sweet souls with a propensity towards the old and grannyish. sweet girls who thought of us first to gift their abundance of unwanted vintage fabric. i am so thankful that i have a friend to help me dream up our vintagey postscript society. and so thankful for this creative outlet right in my back yard. xo
