she's crafty

some of my friends call me becky home-ecky. and other things we won't discuss on this blog. we have been baking and crafting since thanksgiving. i can truly say that after tomorrow when all gifts have been delivered i will think to myself...countertops? i have never been so happy to see you in my whole life. we made fish in a bag soap for our school friends. i highly suggest you delete it from your "to do" list. it was the WORST craft EVER (with emphasis....see me literally spitting with excitement when i say PLEASE do not put yourself through this). i would characterize the experience as excessive, expensive, and excruciatingly time consuming. but oh so rewarding to have a school full of clean children....hee hee.... we made dog treats for our furry friends. fun and easy for the kids. and, super sweet to see the boys delivering their hard work to friends and neighbors.

and we grew paperwhites that are blooming this week (planted on december 1st).

still baking cookies...we made cranberry pistachio biscotti for our teachers, sugar cookies - with the best frosting ever - for the Christmas light hay ride last night, and we have gingerbread men, fudge, and chocolate covered peanut butter bars in the works.
