Christmas, Christmas time is here....

these are just a few shots of how our Christmas season is starting to shape up. we are all in the spirit for sure! this is such a fun nativity scene from playmobil. you gotta love playmobil and thousands of parts. but it's cute that the boys want to take care of baby Jesus every day and let the wise men visit him. they really play and talk about the story of Christmas which is sweet to hear. (however, i have had to rescue Jesus from the playmobil animal hospital a few times, and Joseph from sweet pea's sock drawer). this is my great grandma pearl's Christmas cactus. it lives on the counter at the post office in our little town. the post master made a special cutting just for us. what a sweet gift.
if you were sweet pea...you would have started to wonder why santa was driving down main street in a truck. that's the first thing you would have noticed. not the lights. not the gifts. not his outfit. just the truck.

but then when he looked at you and waved like he REALLY knew who you were. if you were sweet pea you would immediately stop asking questions and realize that he does know everything all at once. all in that moment you would start to BELIEVE. you would start to see that there is a REASON and a PURPOSE even without an answer. and you would start to BEHAVE. AMEN.
