it's been slim pickins around sp&b. we've been so busy. and, i had a tiny health scare over the last month...it was truly miniscule. so much so that i didn't talk about it until it was almost over. but i will admit, now, that i was scared by the things my doctor said and the urgency in which she reacted. but i got good news. that very same day i was devastated to find out that a childhood friend lost his fight. it put things right in my head. at the same moment life felt to me so long and so short. it was good to gain some perspective heading into the holiday season. there are so many reasons to be thankful. so here we are...is it december already? i'm not sure what happened to october and november. i was all set to post some new pictures of santa (who waved to sweet pea), grandma pearl's Christmas cactus (from the post office), talk about feliz doggy dog, and sweet pea's neverending array of santa related questions. however, my usb cable is in my other purse (a problem that most people never experience) and i can't post pictures. tomorrow is another day. cross your fingers.
