front porch before and after demolition
i didn't know that the demolition on the porch had happened. i only noticed because when i was checking out the fireplace demo i saw an odd patch of light under the front door....a patch of light that wouldn't be there if there was a floor. i ran outside and around the house and literally got tears in my eyes. is it odd to say that even though there's nothing there, it's just how i imagined the open space to look? while brad was mowing the lawn, i sat in the grass and stared at the front porch. i listened to the wind blowing in the trees...it's all coming together. we're almost home.
