i love these moments more than words can describe. running around in swim trunks all day, wearing goggles, eating sweet peas right out of the bowl. i want to capture this soft little love and cram him in my mind so i never forget his innocence or his fuzzy little head, or the food smeared from his head to his toes. he grabs my hand and says "look mommy, come with me" and points out nothing in particular. he is an exact mimic of his brother, a quality that i find almost always endearing. i used to wonder what his voice would sound like when he put a full sentence together. now i wonder what his personality will be like when he steps out of his brother's shadow. it's true that the time passes before you even know it. there's no putting on the brakes.Wednesday, June 3, 2009
