tuesday

i was at the grocery store yesterday. with the kids. during nap time. i heard this alarming song over the loudspeakers and i stopped to ponder what the heck they were playing. the chorus...stars go blind. gasp. paris hilton? at the grocery store.? i thought to myself...she's never even been in a grocery store. certainly this is not her demographic. {on a side note...ever have those days as a parent where things get a little too crazy and you zone out in defense?} my thoughts were interrupted by the produce manager who was standing in front of the little car on my shopping cart looking down at my kids. he said, "here. i'll give you each a banana if you stop fighting with each other. you have to promise. not another word...." ha!
that paired with the coming out speech i witnessed at red robin, made it a truly memorable day.

  1. I love it when I hear music in the grocery store that you would never in a million years think you would hear there... The Ramones, Milli Vanilli, Prince.... never heard Paris before, but thats awesome... did they charge you for the bananas?....
