Awesome! They literally moved my childhood library (it was a house) in my home town to a area dedicated to the preservation of historical old buildings from the town. Not a library anymore, but it is honored still.
I have many fond memories of that library. I have read many, many books from there. The building that houses the library is truly awesome. The post office was where the library is now. There was a grocery store where we bought "emergency" groceries. We bowled and I set pins for the men. My pay was $5.00 per night. We met the school bus there and we would by candy in the special candy store. There was a barber shop and shoe shine stand there for the men. The men played cards in the same room. I'm not sure where the women went to get there hair done--I never thought about that. We had school plays and watched movies in the large room. When we got too old to trick-or-treat, we made a spook alley in the kitchen area for the "little" kids. So many memories and so much fun growing up in that town.
