perhaps even better than the fact that it snowed on friday was the kindness that csu #62 showed sweet pea today. don't forget that sweet pea is obsessed with this guy. his picture is up in sweet pea's room, he has his high school football button, we got to stand in the south tunnel as he led the team on the field two weeks ago, and i've posted about him
here. we waited with his family after the last home game of the season. coming off of a great win against new mexico....james was ready for his parents to take him out for some serious grubbin (i cannot even imagine how much that would cost). he took the time and great effort to get down on sweet pea's level and it just seriously made his day.
sp was terrified because he is a HUGE defensive tackle. but he hasn't stopped talking about it since we left ft. collins. i'm sure we will be "playing" football all day tomorrow. let me guess sweet pea will be james and i will be the audience crowd (as he calls it). it was like christmas early. so thankful for these moments....

That is so great that you know this guy and can give sp that moment... he may not remember all the details when he gets older, but he will have these pics.... sweet!!
