another break from the lives of sweet pea and beans....
i know it's not fair. i have been negligent about posting. then there was that political diversion, i am recovering from a nasty bout of laryngitis, the vp debates and preparing myself for the next few weeks without my sweet husband, and now this....i can't stand to watch the stock market fall another point today. i cannot take one more phone call from by boss about how far the stock market has fallen. i must throw myself mercilessly into the blogging world and forget about work for the rest of the day....
i've been tagged. i've never been tagged before. i'm not sure i can even follow the rules of this game because i don't have 7 blogging friends. so blogging friends (or bloggers i wish were friends) bear with me. jennie - the queen of crafty ambitions tagged me because she thinks she wants to know more about moi. what is she getting herself into?!? jennie and i are list fanatics and while she is definitely more crafty than i am, (and where does she find the time with a new baby and two other children?!?) i like to see her new ideas and live vicariously through her craftiness. so at the very least check her out and see what she's up to.
Here are the RULES......
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

the lowdown...
1) i remain close friends with the first person i met in elementary school, middle school, high school and college.
2) i LOVE potato chips and ketchup.
3) i make my own dill pickles. yes i can.
4) i have my own paper crafting (invitations, announcements) business.
5) i volunteer as a CASA for the organization advocates for children. i can't say enough about the work these people do. it is amazing to fight for a child!
6) i got to go to super bowl 33 with the denver broncos (thanks to my husband). and more importantly i saw martha stewart there.
7) i was a nanny in college, and one of my job duties was to take riding (yes, horses) lessons with my kidlet. so i became an equestrian. i jumped fences and cantered and did flying lead changes. for a whole year after college i did nothing but ride horses, show horses and babysit. it was my backpacking trip across europe.
i am tagging the following bloggy ladies because i read their blogs every time i get the chance...some new friends, some old friends, some definite blog crushes:) carry on people. the economy can't get much worse.
