i'll give credit where credit is due. brad put in some serious time with the kiddos yesterday. not only did he stay home all day, but he gave me the night off to go with the girls to film on the rocks. we had a very nice happy hour in the parking lot of red rocks and then took our blankies and snacks in for a late night viewing of the breakfast club.
doesn't this bring back memories?
it was so amazing just sitting there looking at the lights of the city and watching one of the best movies ever made (not to exclude: sixteen candles, pretty in pink, st. elmo's fire, and on and on). there were eight of us (including jen rio - a girl that denise met at the rio and amazingly kept in touch with even though we don't know her last name and she prefers jennifer). i swear we laughed so hard my stomach hurt, or was that the blue cheese stuffed olives (who thought those were a good idea)? i got to reconnect with my sweet friend stephanie and meet a couple of fun, new friends.
thank you, brad for letting me have some much needed girly girl time.
your blog is going to be full of my comments!!
ReplyDeletebut i'm so envious that you got to go to film on the rocks. i heard about it on the 'bco morning show--something i can't let go of--and wished we could go see the BC. looks like you had lots of fun on your girls night out...
no matter what dave says about him, brad seems like a pretty good guy : )
