on blogging fame

another thing i enjoy from time to time (but not too often, never at work) is reading other people's blogs. i found this blog by the scribbler about vintage children's books at the blog called design mom. i forwarded the information about the books onto my librarian friend jen and she made sure i checked out the scribbler's other blog, which i love because sweet pea and her bub are nearly the same age and it's nice to know someone else in the world has the same mothering trials and joys that i do. putting this all together, the scribbler unmasked - burgin streetman - is the guest mom on design mom this week. overnight she has become famous (beyond my wildest blogging imagination) and this mom is going places. in blogging terms i feel like i knew her before she was famous. i hope she remembers the little bloggers on her way up the ladder (tee hee). i met this inspirational blogger because we are both working moms and we chat about the balance in our lives. she's got a great sense of humor and a cute boy that's beans age. i share lists in common with jennie. i found this blog because i dream of doing this with my kids someday - four go rtw. and, i always check out the friend blogs like the smith's, the mcmahan's, the hentzen's and surya's. when i'm feeling the need for some creativity i always go to todays creative blog. and from there i have found some others that really inspire me: whatever, the crafty crow, nesting place, and tonya & co.. and from those blogs i've found others, like: donna downey, blissfully domestic, the pioneer woman, lost button studio, the inspired room, and sugar city journal. all this on my lunch hour (oops! i guess that's over now). enjoy the blogging (if you have the time that is).
