last night i said to sweet pea that we needed to leave to go visit preschool and he said in true "bones" fashion, "rock and roll."

then when he walked into school this morning he said, "i'm done with this classroom. i'm going to preschool. it's upstairs. there's a rainbow at the end of the hall, that's how i know it's preschool."

at breakfast he asked me to turn off the news because it was too hard to focus on his food. then he asked, "may i be i-excused?"
