every night after story time we say prayers and "the God blesses" before sweet pea goes to sleep. we wanted to say an appropriate (not scary) children's prayer with him, but instead he created his own. he calls it kevin's prayer and he associates it with his uncle kevin (sometimes it's referred to as uncle kevin's). last night he was very serious and he began reciting his prayers on his own...."now i lay me down to sleep, (trails off and mumbles because he knows he's started wrong but wants to continue) kingdom come thy will be done, on earth as it is in kevin's, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from eagles, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the GLORIES (with emphasis), forever! amen little man.

hahaha! I wonder who he thinks Kevin is!
