thank you

we just wanted to say thank you to g'ma hardy for taking the time to knit such a handsome sweater for our sweet little pea. it was the perfect temperature for tractors this weekend.

we were very blessed with warmth and sunshine and lots of free time outside. we went on some long walks and played at the playground. both pea and beans did some swinging and sliding. the start of daylight savings time usually means someone in our house isn't sleeping at the right time. in the middle of the night sp woke up and stumbled into our bedroom. thankfully brad was able to get him down again with little problem (usually it has to be me). brad asked if sp wanted him to sleep in his bed for awhile and the reply was, "no you may not." that was the end of that, and no more waking until morning. i think sp does a little sleep walking/ talking from time to time. brad was reminding him about the night time and sp said, "that wasn't a very nice thing for me to say."

we are also starting to see a new independent side to beans. he was really testing me last night by putting something in his mouth after i told him not to. when i took it away from him he started crying and was walking towards me in his baby frankenstein way with a look of total disgust. when he's mad he wipes his hands together like he's done with you and he's brushing you aside. it's very sweet that he's learning to communicate and so incredibly funny at the same time.
