in the wild

there's no certainty, when you open a packet of wildflower seeds, what you're going to get.  there are no guarantees the earth won't swallow them whole.  sometimes they need tending and nurturing, they need weeding and watering.  sometimes left alone they they throw themselves to the wind.  turning their back on convention.  leaving the safety of the garden for greener pastures.  there's no certainty where wildflower seeds will scatter, despite our efforts, despite how we search for them in vain.  we can only hope that when we let them go, they will find a place to grow and bloom.

  3. Beautiful picture and beautiful words. I agree with Sweet Annabelle, that philosophy can be applied to so many things in life such as our own skills and what we do with them. We don't know if they will stick, take us anywhere, need extra practice, but they're always worth building. ^_^
