oh, man. my colorado is burning up again. it is only june, friends, and not nearly as dry as last summer. the wind has not been kind to the brave firefighters battling for land and homes. we are on the flight path for the slurry bombers, and i want to go out and wave and cheer for them. after almost a week, 2 lives, and 360 homes the fire is only a tiny bit contained. last year, during the waldo canyon fire, a colorado company created wild fire tees. they say that all proceeds will benefit the pikes peak community foundation created for the victims of the area wild fires. a worthy and noble cause. i saw a facebook friend was driving to colorado springs to donate clothes to a family who has lost everything. every bit counts.
with the end of google reader rapidly approaching, i made the decision to switch over to bloglovin. it was pretty seemless. where will you be reading blogs after july 1?
