this weekend was definitely swoon worthy. after days and days of rain, the sun was out in full force on sunday. my cheeks were pink and my heart was singing it's a beautiful day. my ears still ringing from U2. which was just amazing. even if you're not really a fan, it was epic in the most incredible ways.
it's true that when you open your heart to possibility, you find the most amazing things {and people}. i am full of thanks and joy for days like this. and the people who continue to grace them.
and lucky for me. i got to hold baby lily while the kids played and played. she is the inspiration for the new goodies that will be going into my etsy shop. and my other sweet little helper decided we should plant our flower garden instead of playing rough with the boys. this weekend made me so aware and thankful for the differences between little girls and boys.
the yard is bursting at the seams with green and little pops of color in the most random places. we are reaping the rewards of cousin bill's geurilla gardening tactics. getting ready to vintage up the yard for a seafood boil/ cookout this weekend. and are so excited for aunts and uncles {and everyone else} who are travelling over the river and through the woods...making their way to the country to be with us. life is good. amen.
