i came to work at the holiday season and mailed my Christmas cards, celebrated with colleagues, wrote numerous blog posts, and took some time off to enjoy family and friends. also it snowed.
then i was inundated with work, which prevented me from participating in my normal holiday routine. and there was no snow.

the moral of the story: i am thankful to have family and friends to think about and love this holiday season {and able to let go of the fact that i didn't order enough Christmas cards to send out}. i am thankful to have a job and coworkers to scramble with during one of the most stressful year ends ever. i am looking forward to blogging my way across wyoming and idaho while listening to a million kid's books on cd. and reading harry potter to the boys. and although i will miss my own family dearly, i cannot wait to spend some quality time with brad's folks. in the snow.
