will this little one ever have a clean face?

we were watching the neighbors play with their dogs the other day and beans said, "they have three dogs...we have two."  then he started looking around excitedly for our "two" dogs and asked, "where IS dr. bob?"  it has been almost a year since bob left us...funny that beans is just now noticing his absence, or just getting around to talking about it!  it was slightly comical.

beans is still three.  'nuff said on that subject.

he started t-ball this week.  his coach is super gung-ho.  i could see getting really pumped up over four three year olds hitting the ball.  beans has this super fielding move...where the ball goes through his legs and then he runs and dives on it, rolls over, crouches down and throws the ball in a direction.  whichever direction he's facing after the action move is over.  not necessarily TO anyone.  hee hee....

we have been farming together, since sweet pea has lost interest.  my little helper gets all of his tools and shovels, waters, rakes.  you name it.  he is a good worker.  glad to have him on the team.  if i could just keep him out of the vegetable rows...
