sweet pea has a slight fancy for this girl. he actually owns her cds, by his own request (thanks c.a.b.). we had a little date last night with her. she didn't disappoint. he was literally intimidated by the sight of her...and the screaming girls. the only reason i mention it at all is because when i was his age (maybe a bit younger) i had a thing for shaun cassidy. watching him last night i remembered when my aunt flew with me to california to visit my grandparents. the whole time i just knew that "he" would see me. driving down the highway. at their house. playing at the park. i mean we were in california and i was the center of the universe. shaun cassidy had nothing better to do at that time than peep in my grandparents windows or wave to me as he drove down the freeway. but i can remember clearly feeling embarrassed and shy that i would run into him....somewhere. and hiding in my grandparents closet. just in case he came over. i wonder if that's why the minute sweet pea saw "her" he melted into my lap and forgot to wave his glow stick and didn't utter another word for the rest of the night...except, i'm ready to go now.
