i have been remiss in updating the blog. i know you understand...we had a garage sale this weekend. and thank you lord for sending us that crazy lady who paid cash for just about everything in sight. thank you so much for sending her to our house so we could have enough money to buy light fixtures. we are moving to the country, but we do not want to read our bedtime stories by candlelight. amen.
so here's a sneak peak at the front porch...will it be done in two weeks when we move in? more importantly will we have a bathroom? these are the burning questions of my day. i believe this porch to be as fabulous as i wanted it to be. fully equipped with a red door. just waiting for visitors who need a refreshing beverage...
and last but not least. turning limes into limeade. while i was in the front room checking out the sanded hardwoods, i heard sweet pea exclaim, "AWESOME!" with slight satisfaction at my paint selection i sauntered over to his room and much to my shock this is what appeared.
awesome was not the word that slipped from my lips. the color - asparagus...not exactly what i envisioned. however, his reaction tells me that i can make this work. some how. some way. suggestions are always welcome. bear with me. i'm thinking some yellow and white.
The house is looking fantastic. Love the asparagus!
ReplyDeletethat porch looks gorgeous, and by the way... when the Hub and I were living in the tent for all those months restoring the farm, well, let's just say if you put a plastic shopping bag down in a five gallon bucket and outfit it with a toilet sit (they fit right on, weird, huh?) it works just fine. love that puke... I mean lime green. awesome!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to sit on the porch and have a mimosa, or something :-)
