yes...i'm procrastinating (pokraka style). i just got off facebook and checked my google reader and emailed some proofs to claire for a project i'm working on....all the while i should be filling out loan applications. curse you banks....lend your money. make it easy on those of us who want to spend it and help the economy. those of us who will pay you back with interest. help me help you....show me the money!
i'm listening to the god awful kid cd that sweet pea loves over the baby monitor and laughing that he is SNORING so loud...way louder than brad on his best day. and i'm feeling sorry that brad is STILL trying to put beans to bed and it's been 2 hours {add another 45 minutes} . but i can't tear myself away from this computer because it is not talking back to me or whining or crying. it doesn't have a double ear infection and a fever....it didn't sleep too long at nap time today and make the whole afternoon topsy turvy.

i was checking out a friend's blog today and the pictures she had taken with her son...pure joy.
this weekend i had a little party with the fam and the girls from the block. as with all good girl parties, it totally got crashed by the men...heartbreakers for sure!

life is good my friends. nice and quiet on the computer while chaos ensues in beans room. sweet pea still snoring... demolition starts tomorrow. sorry gramps! out with the panelling and your seventies style - by god (his words).
goodbye dark fireplace that makes everything smokey and ashy...i thought about painting it to be thrifty. but our contractor suggested a stick of dynamite would be more economical:) {for the purists...we are remodeling it, not removing it}
and if you're still with me here....a sweet little sentiment from beans: "my (i) don't like a (the) mud momma. it's no bueno." peace out. pray for sleep.
oh my god i wish i was you tearing down and building anew.... incredible... how fun! Now can you have an english garden with your weather? or at least peonies?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the after shots!!
ReplyDeletelol @ beans - he's bi-lingual! poor little guy, well actually, poor brad!
Jonah has been tougher to get to sleep too. he cries to "sleep momma's piplow (pillow)".
ummmmm...not sure how to take that! going to have to ponder my new verb status on your blog...
ReplyDeletei am so with you on the english garden. not sure about my green thumb...peonies are a must and lavender. we have a pretty short growing season and this year we had no snow all winter until april where it has snowed or rained every week. mother's day is the earliest you could ever plant without a hard freeze and there will be snow again in october...sweet pea is snoring again! ha!
ReplyDeleteI believe the question is, "Can you have an English Garden with your kids and dogs?" If there isn't grass on it, there's bound to be a Tonka truck or a buried bone.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be there to help... I LOVE to remodel.... good lick and take TONS of pics...
