it's only 9:30pm and i can barely make this post. i. am. exhausted. beans has had a temperature of 104 degrees since saturday afternoon. if he isn't constantly switching between motrin and tylenol every three hours his fever spikes. the good news is that when he's in the middle of each of those 3 hour periods of medicine induced joy, he is an utter delight (notice his good humor in the picture above). the bad news is that the other two hours he is lethargic, clingy and a sad, sad boy. dr. jim says he is a-ok; just a bug. no ear infections (collectively everyone knock on wood right now). i am praying that tonight will be the first night in two weeks that he will sleep longer than 3 hours at a time. i feel like a new mom (sorry mikelle, maybe not quite like a new mom) but my body is starting to adjust. i told the college student helping out in our office that i could go out tonight and par-tay old school (for me) and rally just the same tomorrow. but....maybe not. i did finish a little project for jennie tonight...hope you like them - they are so you sweet friend. they will be in the mail tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteI hope that your little man is gettign better... there is nothing worse than having a sick baby, no matter if they are an infant or 10 years old, you never like seeing your kids sick....
you are such a sweet freind and when they get here I will most definitely be posting about them and spreading the awesome word that is Sweet Pea and Beans!!!
Sorry to hear that Beans is so sick. I really hope he gets better soon for everyone's sake.
