day three...

it's day three of the big boy bed...naptimes are the worst because for the last couple of nights beans has woken up at 4 in the morning. by naptime all i want is for him to sleep, but he wants to get out of bed 100 times (equating to roughly 1 hour of not sleeping for either of us). let's face it, i'm tired and kind of grouchy...(p.s. - there was no real reason to do this transition to big boy bed except for that i'm on vacation...hmmm....suspect timing....and i'm ready to throw in the towel and put the crib rail back on by myself. where did brad hide the power tools?) i'm not sure if i can or should stay up until the ball drops in times square at 10pm mst. (you can bet i will not be up to ring in the new year with the rest of those yay-hoos who stay up until midnight - maybe next year).

check out the author (with photographs by susan anderson).... i wonder, but don't have time to research, what exactly the Cambridge Women's Pornography Cooperative is all about.i can especially relate to this page today, and am literally counting the minutes until brad gets home from work. i wonder in what universe could i ever take an eight hour nap? i guess that's why they call this "porn"...wouldn't happen in real life, only between paid actors.
