death and anything for a buck

my dad gave us our fish tank tv as a christmas gift. truth be told, he didn't like the inconvenience of trying to clean the tank....neither do we. but it is such a fun inconvenient piece of furniture. i've always loved it. as i'm writing this, i just realized that all of our fish have been named after tv characters...fish lips houlihan (rip), major burns (rip), larry (rip), daryl (rip), daryl, fat albert (as sweet pea would say - fat albret) (rip), fat albert jr., clarabelle, annie, and angel fish (never had a name) (rip).it's been coming for awhile. first he was lurking behind the bubbles....then doing some strange swimming up top. even sweet pea knew he wasn't long for this world. but the time finally came where our happy little bottom feeder left us for greater seas...we sent fat albert to swim in the ocean today. as he sat bottoms up in the toilet we decided to say a few words. sweet pea yelled, "good luck in the ocean. have fun with God." and then it was bon voyage fat albert. sweet pea flushed him away.

brad said, one to always point out the obvious, i hope sweet pea is not afraid to go swimming in the ocean now that he thinks everything that goes in the toilet ends up there. yikes. i can imagine that next family vacation....
