chocolatey sweet goodness

there's almost nothing better than melty, homemade, chocolate frosting on a nice warm piece of cake. sweet pea has been calling it chocolatey sweet goodness. i'm not going to say he came up with the phrase, but he might have. he sure says it alot. if i could sit in a garden of gigantic peonies with chocolate cake (or maybe ricos) things would be all right. my peonies died this year (ants). last year they were enormous and i swear there were blooms twice in the summer.... these are the blooms in the gardens at the littleton historical museum. a very fun place for the kiddos if you're in the area, and fun if you're a south denver historical enthusiast.

sweet pea got to do his "warming up" with daddy at indoor soccer last night.

that after a hard day of "lawning the mower" (mowing the lawn). he had his little kid mower out in the back yard with a plastic grocery bag to dump the clippings in. then his law-ma-na-mower (said really fast) broke down and he turned it over and said he needed to check the oil and gas. sp was sure to take off his "lawning" shoes before he went in the house so he wouldn't track grass clippings in. it's so fun watching him try to be like daddy. that's my chocolatey sweet goodness.
