this week i've been so fortunate to have the time to really sit there and listen to the kids laugh, to give my undivided attention to brad and his plans for the future, to focus on potty training (day 6 with no accidents), to take walks with sweet pea and meet some neighbors, and to hike upstairs for the 1 millionth bedtime kiss.we met emma (i wonder if she babysits) and the little old lady with the tiny white dog named muffin (sweet pea told her we have a baby named willzilla). i noticed that one of my neighbors was wearing a suit today when he left for work and he looked just like jim from the office (which makes me smile for no reason). sweet pea noticed that the trees were "growing" and turning green (which makes me smile because he has so many words and so little time to use them all in one sentence). beans learned the sign for more (which makes me smile because he gives so much effort to communication with such little success - yet). yep, it's been a really nice, slow week with lots of love and laughter.
I love spring time in a subdivision in Michigan. It's like we all come alive.
